Family members always struggle to understand Addiction, why our loved ones are sick, where they are now, how could this have happened to them and during this holiday season, it’s the hardest time to process. We all want to understand, to “fix it”, to bring life back to “normal” what ever that may be. It’s not going to fix anything though, through education and understanding that this IS a disease it will help us better understand the HOW.
